Hello,I am IT Admin for a startup that is fully remote. How do you manage repairs for remote staff? Networking.Hello, I am IT director for a medium sized company (100 PC) based in Canada and starting 2 years ago like many corporations, we gone from a 100% local business to 75% remote employee working from home from anywhere in Canada and even worldwide (I have emp. Remotely lockdown/wipe corporate computer when employee terminates? Security. It has worked great for us.Īlso note that I do not receive compensation whatsoever for this post it's just my experience. If one has never worked with VNC, there is a steep learning curve but it's worth the effort, IMHO.
The normal user response is shock at how quickly we can access their desktop and see their issue. Although more expensive than Zoho, it was much less expensive than LogMeIn! Also, note that "VNC Viewer Plus" can provide out-of-band BIOS-level remote access for Intel vPro units. We have a subscription for " VNC Connect - Enterprise - Device Access" for 50 users as well as a subscription for "VNC Connect - Enterprise - Instant Support" for one admin. The only software we could find that met all this criteria was RealVNC.
I see posts above talks about Atera and other RMMs. Splashtop has strong support for Mac users (if fact, Splashtop remote control performance for MAC is recognized to be better than any other solution other there), and Splashtop also support SAML / SSO / ADFS and various granular permission control as needed. Will PM you to understand how we can best improve the deployment experience. Sorry to see you migrated out of Splashtop. Home users, Mac users, easy deploy (Splashtop's deployment was janky at best by comparison), SAML admin acess and granular support permissions are also great if needed. We used to use Splashtop, and what a world of difference Connectwise has been.
